Inspired by an excellent, free online video Lightroom tutorial by Michael Tapes, I started playing around with the demo version over the weekend. Or another way to put it is that a wild, love-at-first-site, obsessive relationship materialized over the course of the last three days. I mean, I haven't gotten this emotionally attached to software so suddenly and overwhelmingly since...well, since the iPhone. But I wasn't moved to start an iPhone blog, that's for sure. I'm currently transitioning over to a digital darkroom setup at home, setting up for a concentrated year of photography, and a major piece has just fallen into place. I want to yell it from the mountaintops. But I'm quite lazy and sedentary, so I'm starting a blog instead.
This is a test entry, getting the domain stuff set up.
